Household Hazardous Waste Collection

October 18, 2025 from 8AM to 12PM at Winslow Public Works, 135 Halifax Street, Winslow 04901

For Waterville residents: Pre-registration is Required, and you must contact Waterville Public Works at (207)680-4744 to participate. 

You will be assigned a time to arrive at Winslow Public Works. Early arrivals may need to wait. You MUST bring your registration form pre-filled out.

All battery types	Explosives & ammunition
TVs, DVD players, and all electronic waste	Recyclable items(cardboard, all plastics #1- 7, glass, metal, aluminum)
Unwanted mixed and unmixed fuels. (gasoline, diesel, kerosene, etc.)	Solid waste/trash
Unused liquid paint (paint does not need to be mixed with sand or sawdust)	Textiles (clothing, shoes, bags, bedding, etc.)
Household cleaners, chemicals, and pesticides.	Fluorescent bulbs (CFLs)
Unused or unwanted pharmaceuticals	Asbestos containing materials
