Library Open as a Cooling Center at 10AM

 A reminder that the Irvington Public Library is a designated Cooling Center during the hot months of summer. Come enjoy our air-conditioned Children's, Young Adult/Teen, and Adult sections. Don't feel like reading? Use one of our 4 public computers or wi-fi, check out our community puzzle in the Adult Reading Room, or attend one of our many entertaining programs - no library card required.

Today, Tuesday, our hours are 10 AM to 9 PM.

Library Hours
Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays 10-5
Tuesdays and Thursdays 10-9

Some fun & social ways for adults to cool off in the library this week and next...

Tomorrow, Wednesday, at 2 PM-- bring a yoga mat and enjoy Yoga with Susannah Owen in the Program Room 

Thursday at 6:30 PM-- Adult Chess. No experience required. Learn from scratch OR play against others at your level.

Friday at 10:30 AM: Movie Morning: "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" 

Saturday at 12 PM/Noon: "Needles at Noon" Yarn Craft Meet-Up

This Monday, June 30th at 11 AM: Movie Monday, RENT

Next Tuesday, July 1st at 6:30 PM: Board & Tabletop Game Night for Adults-- no experience required. 7 PM: Pajama Storytime for Kids Ages 3+register here.

Next Wednesday, July 2nd at 11 AM: Performance by Howard Cohen, accomplished cellist, "The Cello- From Bach to the Beatles"

Next Thursday, July 3rd at 10:45 AM: Sizzling Summer Stories with Ms Lois for Kids-- All Ages. Register here.

and Kids and Teens are invited to join the epic Summer Reading Game! Earn trips to the library's Prizeville as you build up time logged reading.
