Carbondale Police Press Release - Armed Robbery

CARBONDALE –  On June 22, 2025, at 6:20 p.m., City of Carbondale police officers responded to the area of West Mill and South James Street regarding a report of an Armed Robbery. The victim reported he was walking west on West Mill Street when four suspects exited a black Chrysler 300 with firearms and demanded the victim’s property. The suspects were described by the victim as black males. They fled in the vehicle, which was last seen heading west on west Mill Street near the intersection of South Oakland Avenue. The victim was not injured as a result of the incident. Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to contact the police department at the numbers listed below. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
