Carbondale Hosts 2nd Annual CommuniTEA Social Hour
CARBONDALE -
Mayor Harvey of the City of Carbondale invites you to join the 2nd Annual CommuniTEA Social Hour!
Come beat the heat and make fresh connections with non-profits and community minded individuals in the region while enjoying hors d'oeuvres & iced tea! This gathering will be held on Saturday, July 12, with extended hours this year, running from 11:30 AM-2 PM at the Carbondale Civic Center (200 S. Illinois Ave.) There will be a brief presentation from Mayor Harvey and short and sweet games for guests to get to know one another from 12-12:30 PM. The rest of the event, guests have the leisure to come and go as they please, snack on hors d’oeuvres, and mingle with others!

Interested in joining a non-profit but not sure where to turn? Passionate about giving back to the community? Looking for fun new ways to get involved? Come visit with several of our regions’ non-profits all at once, really get to know about the people involved and the work they do, and get your calendar of volunteer hours lined up all in one spot!
