Carbondale Police Press Release - Shots Fired Investigation

CARBONDALE – On June 9, 2024 at 3:22 a.m., City of Carbondale police officers responded to the 900 block of East Park Street regarding multiple reports of shots fired. Officers did not discover anyone injured and no injuries were reported. Officers located several vehicles that had been struck by gun fire. The investigation revealed that there was a gathering of known acquaintances that engaged in dispute resulting in the gun fire. No suspect information is available at this time. The Carbondale Police Department encourages anyone with information about this incident to call at the numbers listed below. The investigation is active and ongoing.
