CARBONDALE – On 07-26-2026, City of Carbondale Police officers located Mick and found him to be safe and in good health. The public’s assistance with this incident is greatly appreciated.   
 
Prior Release - The City of Carbondale Police Department is requesting assistance from the public in locating James D. Mick, 36, of Carbondale. On July 22, 2026, officers learned that James had not been in contact with family since June 24, 2026.  James, pictured below, is 6’00” tall, weighs 180 pounds, and has blonde hair and blue eyes. There is no clothing description available. Anyone with information about James’ whereabouts is asked to contact the police department at the numbers listed below.
