Carbondale Police Press Release - Missing Person

CARBONDALE – The City of Carbondale Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Navaeh S. Newsom, age 18, of Carbondale. On June 17, 2026, officers learned Navaeh was last seen by family in the afternoon on June 13, 2026, in the 300 block of West Pecan Street. Navaeh was last seen entering a white vehicle driven by an unknown black male. Navaeh is described as 5’08”, weighing 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Navaeh was last seen wearing a purple bonnet, a black or grey shirt, and black sweatpants. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police department at the numbers listed below. The investigation is active and ongoing.
