CARBONDALE - The SIU Office of Innovation and Economic Development and the City of Carbondale are hosting a no-cost workshop for nonprofits related to funding strategies. 

Held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, from 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM at Carbondale Civic Center (200 South Illinois Avenue, Carbondale, IL 62901), this workshop will cover how to:

  -Build a strong funding strategy for long-term impact

  -Move beyond short-term fundraising to diversified revenue

  -Position your organization for funding opportunities

  -Begin developing a strategy to support growth and mission delivery

The leader of this workshop is Rex Duncan, Nonprofit Strategist with SIU Office of Innovation and Economic Development.
