CARBONDALE – 

On 02/12/26 at approximately 6:48 PM, Carbondale Police Officers located what was later confirmed to be the victim of a Hit and Run Traffic Crash in the 600 block of E. Campus Drive. The victim was transported to the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale with life threatening injuries. Officers located the involved vehicle abandoned nearby the scene of the crash. During the course of the investigation, officers located and arrested the driver, identified as Alexis L. Locke,  37 of Carbondale.  The investigation is active and ongoing.
