City Offices Closed Thanksgiving Day and the Day After
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
CARBONDALE - In observance of Thanksgiving, City offices will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 27-28, 2025, and reopen on Monday, December 1, 2025.
During this time, walk-in customer service at City offices will not be available. However, residents are reminded that emergency services will continue to operate without interruption.
Utility bill payments can be conveniently made during the closure through the following methods:

- Online Payment: Residents can pay utility bills at the City's official website. Online services offer a secure and convenient way to make bill payments.
- Dropbox: A secure dropbox is available at City Hall for residents to drop off their payments anytime, day or night.
- In Person: Upon reopening on December 1, 2025, residents can pay utility bills in person during regular business hours.
