Carbondale Police Press Release: Traffic Crash Update

CARBONDALE – On 11-19-25 CPD Officers responded to Kroger, 501 N. Giant City Road for the report of a vehicle that had driven into the front glass doors of the entrance.  Several  other unoccupied vehicles were struck as well, however there were no reports of any injuries.  A Civic Alert was sent out to make customers aware of the situation. This incident did not appear to be intentional and the business remained open. The investigation is continuing.
