CARBONDALE – Missing/Runaway Juvenile    
CARBONDALE - The City of Carbondale Police Department is requesting assistance from the public in locating Dametrious P. Nelson, age 16 of Carbondale. Dametrious was last seen on August 13, 2025, at about 12:53 a.m. in the 3000 block of West Sunset Drive. Dametrious is described as 5'10" tall, weighing 155 pounds, with brown eyes and a black shoulder-length dreadlock hairstyle. Dametrious was wearing a white shirt, blue pants, a black jacket, and white shoes. Dametrious has a backpack that may contain different clothing. Dametrious may also be in the Marion area, where he has family. Anyone with information about Dametrious is encouraged to contact the Police Department at the numbers listed below. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
