Construction Work at Old West Main and North Marion Street Corridors, Now through 8/22

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CARBONDALE -
The City of Carbondale would like to inform residents, visitors, and business owners that construction work is ongoing from now until 8/22 in the Old West Main Street and North Marion Street corridors. This project is part of the City’s continued efforts to revitalize infrastructure, enhancing accessibility, aesthetics, and long-term functionality.

The ongoing work scheduled for 8/11-8/22 at Old West Main Street & North Marion Street may cause temporary changes to parking availability and traffic flow in and around the area. Signage and traffic control measures will be posted to help direct motorists and pedestrians safely around active construction zones.  Please exercise caution when traversing in these construction zones.

We ask for your understanding and patience during this time of progress as we continue to make improvements to Carbondale. These enhancements are part of our commitment to creating a vibrant, welcoming, and accessible community space for all.

We appreciate your support as we move forward with these important upgrades and improvements. Please continue to support our local businesses and enjoy everything Carbondale has to offer during the construction period.
