ADVISORY – POTENTIAL WEATHER IMPACTS STARTING 20 FEB 2025
Beginning Thursday, we are expecting to see warmer weather for the next several days. With the amount of snow we have received, you could possibly see some localized flooding due to snow melting into waterways, drainages, or low areas.
We have listed below some areas of concern and actions that you can take to better prepare for an event. The Roads & Bridges Department will be positioning sand for sandbags for the public at several sites throughout the county. Please take a moment to review this information and remember to report any hazards that you may see to the link below.

- Fishtail
- Hersrud Rd
- Keyser Creek drainage
- The Homestead near Weast Ave in Absarokee
- Valley Creek Rd Area
- Reed Point
- Any fishing Access
- Highway 419 between the fire station and Stillwater mine
ACTIONS THAT YOU CAN TAKE
- Make sure the vents are uncovered and cleared
- Make sure any culverts are clear
- Fire Hydrants are cleared
- Make sure storm drains are clear
- Report hazards you see and ice jams
