The City of Easton has begun rolling out a new metered parking payment app called Park Smarter by IPS Group, Inc., as approved by Easton City Council at its September 25, 2024 meeting. We expect new stickers to be on all meters throughout the downtown by the end of this week, weather permitting. While you will start seeing stickers for the new app on meters, you can still continue to use the ParkMobile app, as well as credit cards, and coins as before. 
 
PLEASE NOTE: The new app will replace the ParkMobile app beginning June 1, 2025.

How do I use it? 

• Download the app wherever you get your smartphone apps and set up your account. Search "Park Smarter" and look for the teal and white lightbulb logo. 
• Don't want to download the app? Use the Text-to-Pay feature by texting the word PAY to 77447 and enter the Zone# for your parking space.  
• With Park Smarter, you select a parking zone based on where your vehicle is parked. It does not use individual parking meter numbers like Park Mobile did.

What features does the app have?  

• You can extend a parking session thru the app without needing to return to the meter to make a payment.  
• It allows users to enter several vehicles into their account.  
• Users can also turn on notifications to receive reminders on their mobile device or via email about parking expiration.  
• It allows multiple forms of payment including all major credit cards, plus Apple Pay, Google Pay, MasterPass and Visa Click to Pay.
