Easton Alert: Snow Storm update - 11:30 am
SNOW UPDATE: City of Easton - 1/25 @ 11:30 am
The City's Dept. of Public Works is working 24/7 over the next 48 hours to manage the ongoing storm. Here is the current plan:
Phase 1 (Today): Plowing Snow Emergency Routes followed by secondary streets.
Note: Roads are being cleared for emergency vehicle passage. Do not expect to see "blacktop" yet, as snow is accumulating faster than it can be cleared. Icing is expected this evening.
Phase 2 (Tomorrow): Snow removal begins. DPW will be hauling large snow piles out of the city.
Reminders:
- DO NOT shovel snow from private property onto a plowed street.
- DO NOT park on Snow Emergency Routes.
- Stay home and stay off the roads to let our crews work safely.
