PERFORMANCE PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE COVID RESILIENCEY APPLICATION 

The City of McPherson will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, January 14th, at 8:45 am, in the City Commission room for the purpose of evaluating the performance of Grant No. 23-CR008 which provided Covid Resiliency funds to eight business, in the City limits, for upgrades allowing businesses to remain open, preventing future closures due to community illnesses and health emergencies. 

Final installed projects consisted of 1 outdoor dining, 3 websites, 7 point of sales/orders/inventory/ecommerce systems, 8 office equipment packages, and 1 floral cooler. Project total cost $155,142. 

This grant was funded, all or in part, from the Kansas Department of Commerce, Small Cities Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. All aspects of the grant will be discussed, and oral and written comments will be recorded and become a part of the city/county of McPherson CDBG Citizen Participation Plan.
