City of Gulf Shores Announces Thanksgiving Holiday Closures

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, all non-essential city offices will be closed on Thursday, November 27, and Friday, November 28.

• Garbage & Recycling Pick-up: Routes will not run on Thursday, November 27. Thursday’s trash & Recycling will be collected on Friday, November 28. The City of Gulf Shores Recycling Center will remain open for drop-offs.
• Yard Debris/Bulky Pink-up: Yard debris/bulky pick-up will not run on Thursday, November 27, or Friday, November 28. Crews will collect Thursday and Friday’s debris between Monday, November 24, and Wednesday, November 26. Please place all yard debris and bulky items outside by Sunday, November 23.
• The Bodenhamer Recreation Center will be closed on Thursday, November 27, and will reopen on Friday, November 28.
• The Gulf Shores City Store will be closed on Thursday, November 27, and will reopen on Friday, November 28.
• The Tennis and Pickleball courts will remain open and available for play.
