As the City's Lift Station Rehabilitation Project continues, a temporary road closure will be in place at Jackson Street and Lake Road beginning August 31.

This work is part of an ongoing sewer infrastructure improvement project designed to strengthen the reliability of La Marque's wastewater system. Construction is expected to take approximately 40 to 60 working days, although weather and other factors may affect the schedule.

Motorists are encouraged to use caution in the area and follow posted detours and traffic control devices. The City is working closely with the contractor to minimize disruptions whenever possible.
