Good afternoon, today at approximately 2:30pm a third party contractor struck a gas line in the area of Laurel and First St.  Fire, Police, and Center Point Gas crews were on scene evaluating the leak and developing a plan to get the line isolated. As of 3:50pm the gas line has been shut off and shelter in place has been lifted.
