ROAD WATCH for the week of May 18

Kortsen (Kleck) Road Reconstruction Project

Beginning Tuesday, May 19, and continuing for approximately three weeks, contractors for the City of Casa Grande will begin construction on the Kortsen (Kleck) Road Reconstruction Project.

Construction activities will occur along Kortsen (Kleck) Road between Azurite Way and Evens Road, including the intersection of Overfield Road and Kleck Road. Message boards and detour signage will be deployed throughout the project area to help guide motorists.

Local traffic will be permitted; however, there may be times when sections of the roadway become temporarily impassable and detours will be required.

Residents are encouraged to use caution in the area, expect delays, and seek alternate routes when possible.

Upland Trail Road Closure at Peart Road

Beginning Monday, May 18, and continuing for approximately two weeks, contractors for Southwest Gas will begin construction work on Upland Trail just east of Peart Road.

To provide contractors adequate space to safely complete the work, Upland Trail will be closed at Peart Road. In addition, Peart Road will be reduced to one lane north of Rodeo Road during construction activities.

Message boards and detour signage will be deployed throughout the project area to help guide motorists. Drivers are encouraged to use caution and seek alternate routes when necessary.
