CGAlerts: City of Casa Grande Seeks Community Input Through Recycling Survey

City of Casa Grande Seeks Community Input Through Recycling Survey

The City of Casa Grande is inviting residents to share their input through a new Recycling Survey as part of the City’s Engage Casa Grande initiative. The survey is designed to better understand community interest in recycling services, including how residents currently recycle, how frequently they would use a program, and what they may be willing to pay for the service.

The survey is now open and all Casa Grande residents are encouraged to participate. Feedback gathered will help inform whether the city should consider reintroducing a recycling program and what that service could look like for the community.

The city previously offered a recycling program prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. The program was discontinued due to rising costs and limited markets available to process recyclable materials.

“This survey is an important step in understanding how residents currently recycle and whether there is interest in bringing recycling services back to Casa Grande,” said Sanitation Superintendent, Ron Rouse. “Community feedback will help guide future decisions and ensure any potential program aligns with resident needs.”

Residents can participate in the following ways:

  • Online
  • Printed copies available at:
    • City Hall
    • Casa Grande Public Library
    • Dorothy Powell Senior Center

The survey will remain open through Thursday, April 23, at 11:59 p.m. Results will be posted on the City’s website on Thursday, April 30.

For more information or assistance completing the survey, contact the City’s Public Information Office.
