Public Safety Alert – Tree and Power Lines Down on Kilmer Street

A tree has fallen on Kilmer Street between Lake Avenue and Belleview Avenue, and power lines are down in the area. This section of the street is closed until further notice.
• PEPCO has been notified.
• A tree has fallen onto a parked car in the area; the vehicle may have sustained damage.
• No injuries were reported. 

The Town has scheduled the tree for removal on Friday morning, and the street will reopen once PEPCO completes repairs.

For your safety, please avoid the restricted area marked with caution tape, and do not drive through this portion of Kilmer Street until it has been cleared and reopened.
