Anyone 15 years or older is welcome to join! Bring your friends, form a team, and hit the court.

Whether you’re a seasoned baller or just looking for fun on the court, this event is perfect for all skill levels. Show off your skills, make new friends, and compete in a thrilling day of hoops and high-flying action!
This year’s tournament is dedicated to the memory of Clarence “Coach” Carter, who passed away in 2025 and whose passion for basketball and mentorship shaped the Cheverly community for over 40 years. Beyond coaching at schools and universities, Coach Carter poured much of his heart into Cheverly’s basketball programs and local recreation leagues. He was the driving force behind the Cheverly Day 3-on-3 Basketball Tournaments, building it into a beloved tradition that brought the community together and fostered teamwork and friendly competition. His tireless dedication to teaching both the game and life lessons left an indelible mark on generations, and his spirit continues to inspire Cheverly on and off the court. He also leaves behind a large and loving family, including many nieces and nephews, several of whom grew up in Cheverly and continue his legacy in the community he loved so deeply.

Games are first to 11 points or 9-minute limit

NBA rules apply, with modifications for 3v3 play (half-court, checked possessions, cleared balls)

Referees and event coordinators must be respected
