* Until 600 PM EDT.

* At 509 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Grifton, or 9
miles south of Ayden, moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

Kinston, Grifton, Phillips Crossroads, Vanceboro, Askins,
Shelmerdine, Calico, Fort Barnwell, Jasper, Tuscarora, Graingers,
Wyse Fork, Ernul, Dover, Cove City, Gardnerville, and Trenton.
