Solo Motorcycle Vehicle Collision at Fountaingrove and Parker Hill Road

On Friday July 26^th at approximately 6:18am, Santa Rosa Police Officers, Fire, and medical personnel were dispatched to the area of Fountaingrove and Parker Hill Road for a solo motorcycle collision.

Santa Rosa Police Dispatch received multiple 911 calls regarding this collision. Witnesses reported that the motorcycle was heading west on Fountaingrove and had just passed Parker Hill when the driver lost control of the motorcycle. The motorcycle hit the curb and flipped multiple times, ending up on the north side of Fountaingrove near the sidewalk.

When officers arrived on scene, they located the rider of the motorcycle laying near the motorcycle. He was unresponsive. Medical personnel immediately transported him to a local trauma center with life-threatening injuries.

An SRPD Collision Investigator responded to the scene and took over the investigation. Evidence Technicians also responded to assist and collect all related evidence. Initial reports from witnesses indicated that the driver may have been driving erratically prior to the collision. His speed is unknown at this time.
Fountaingrove remained open during the investigation. The driver will not be identified at this time pending family notifications. The driver is an adult male and he remains in critical condition at a local hospital.
