SRPD Seeks Assistance in Locating Woman Suspected of Attempted Murder

The Santa Rosa Police Department (SRPD) Violent Crimes Investigations Team is asking for assistance in locating a suspect wanted for attempted murder. Nacomee Paula Perez, a 44-year-old Santa Rosa resident, is suspected of stabbing a female acquaintance early this morning. Perez is described as a Native American woman, 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing approximately 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. There is an active warrant for Perez’s arrest related to this incident.

At approximately 4:10 a.m. on June 27, 2024, SRPD officers were dispatched to an area hospital to a report of a woman being treated for multiple stab wounds. The victim, a 34-year-old resident of Graton, had sustained at least 5 stab wounds to her upper torso. SRPD Violent Crimes Investigation Team detectives immediately responded and based on information learned during their preliminary investigation, it is believed Perez stabbed the victim multiple times during an argument. The incident occurred in the 2600 block of McBride Lane, Santa Rosa. Following the stabbing, friends of the victim transported her to the hospital for treatment. As of the time of this release, the victim is still hospitalized in stable condition and is expected to survive.

A reward of up to $2,500 is being offered by the Sonoma County Alliance Community Engagement and Safety Rewards Fund. The reward is for information leading to Perez’s arrest.

Perez should be considered armed and dangerous. Do not approach Perez or attempt to detain her. If you know of Perez’s whereabouts, please contact the Santa Rosa Police Department immediately at 707-528-5222.
