Man arrested with loaded "Ghost Gun"
On 09/09/23 at approximately 9:35 a.m., a Santa Rosa Police Officer observed a black Cadillac sedan driving northbound on Santa Rosa Ave. north of Hearn Ave., with an equipment violation. The officer conducted an enforcement stop on the vehicle. During the investigation, the officer searched the vehicle and located a concealed, loaded, Privately Manufactured Firearm (PMF) otherwise known as a "Ghost Gun," in the passenger compartment of the vehicle.  Additionally, the driver was in possession of 58 rounds of 9mm ammunition, a cannister of bear spray, and clothing and other items indicating involvement in gang activity.
The driver, Lerma Emiliano, a 21-year-old resident of Fort Bragg, Ca. was arrested and booked into the Sonoma County Jail for possession of an unregistered firearm -- 25850(C)(6) PC, and possession of a concealed firearm -- 25400(a)(1) PC.
