Santa Rosa Police Department Raises $34,000 for Special Olympics Northern California at Third Annual Golf Tournament
The Santa Rosa Police Department is proud to announce that its Third Annual Santa Rosa Golf Tournament, held June 12, 2026, at Windsor Golf Club, raised an outstanding $34,000 for Special Olympics Northern California.
The event brought together 33 teams of four golfers, local businesses, community members, and supporters for a day of friendly competition and philanthropy. Organized by a dedicated team of SRPD employees, the tournament featured 18 holes of golf, a catered dinner, and both silent and live auctions, creating a memorable experience for all who attended.
The success of the tournament was made possible through the generous support of 17 major sponsors, whose contributions helped further the mission of Special Olympics Northern California. Their partnership, along with the enthusiasm of participants and volunteers, demonstrated the community’s strong commitment to empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities through sports, inclusion, and opportunity.
Proceeds from the tournament will directly support Special Olympics Northern California programs and athletes, providing critical resources that help participants train, compete, and achieve their goals.
The golf tournament is just one of several ways SRPD supports Special Olympics Northern California. Through participation in the Law Enforcement Torch Run and additional department fundraising efforts, SRPD has raised more than $90,000 over the past three years in support of Special Olympics athletes and programs.
The Santa Rosa Police Department extends its sincere gratitude to the sponsors, players, volunteers, and community members who helped make this year’s event such a tremendous success. With another record-breaking year in the books, planning is already underway for the Fourth Annual Charity Golf Tournament, and SRPD looks forward to continuing this tradition of community engagement and charitable giving.
