Santa Rosa Police Department to Hold Community Traffic Safety Meetings

The Santa Rosa Police Department (SRPD) is announcing a series of upcoming community traffic safety meetings made possible through additional grant funding from the California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS). The grant funding is to support increased community engagement and problem-solving related to traffic concerns.

These meetings are designed to provide community members an opportunity to share traffic-related concerns directly with police staff, including issues such as speeding, roadway safety, and neighborhood traffic patterns. Feedback gathered during the meetings will be reviewed by the department, solutions will be developed, and follow-up communication will be provided to community members regarding next steps.

To ensure broad access and maximize officer availability funded through the grant, meetings will be held by city quadrants over the coming months.

Planned Community Meeting Schedule:

  • April 16, 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. – Roseland University Prep (big room), 1931 Biwana Drive
  • May 14, 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. – Santa Rosa Bible Church, 4575 Badger Road
  • May 30, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. – City of Santa Rosa Utility Field Operations (UFO) Building, 35 Stony Point Road
  • June 18, 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. – New Vintage Church, 3300 Sonoma Avenue

SRPD encourages community members to attend the meeting corresponding to their area of the city, though all residents are welcome at any location. If you are unable to participate in the meetings but still would like to share your traffic concerns with SRPD, please email us at trafficcollab@srcity.org.
