SRPD Traffic Division Assists in "Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day" Event

On November 14, 2025, the Santa Rosa Police Department Traffic Division was invited to assist Village Elementary School with their “Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day” event.   

SRPD Motor Officers met with students and parents from the school.  After meeting with the students and parents, the Motor Officers traveled with the large group of students, parents, and staff while they completed their Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day event.   

The Santa Rosa Police Department would like to thank Village Elementary school for the invitation to their event! The Santa Rosa Police Department traffic unit is committed to ensuring the safety of all students and staff getting to and from school.
