Santa Rosa Police Department CHeckpoint Results

Santa Rosa, Calif. – On Friday November 14, 2025, 1 driver was arrested for DUI.

The DUI checkpoint was held at Farmers Lane and Patio Court from 8:00 p.m. until 12:00 a.m.

19 drivers were cited for operating a vehicle unlicensed and 5 drivers were cited for operating a vehicle with a suspended/revoked license, 1096 vehicles were contacted, and 5 drivers were evaluated for DUI. Two people were cited for possessing open containers of alcohol in a vehicle, one driver was arrested for violation of probation, and one driver was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

DUI checkpoint locations are determined based on reported incidents of impaired driving-related crashes. The primary purpose of DUI checkpoints is to promote public safety by taking suspected impaired drivers off roads.

Funding for this checkpoint was provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
