I-89 Northbound Exit 19 On & Off Ramp Closure
The I-89 Exit 19 northbound off and on-ramps will be closed starting Monday July 17th, 2023, at or around 5:00 am, to allow for the installation of a water main along Mechanic Street. While the City’s contractor is completing the water main work, the NHDOT’s contractor will be working along the ramps to minimize any future closures of the ramps. This work is anticipated to last 2 days but may run slightly longer if weather impacts the schedule. On-ramp traffic will be directed to use I-89 southbound to reverse directions at Exit 18. Off-ramp traffic will be directed to Exit 20 to reverse directions onto I-89 southbound to Exit 19. Detour signs and message boards will be in place to direct traffic. Once water main installation and paving is complete the ramps will be opened to traffic.
