Limited Core Services

Due to poor road conditions, Louisa County will operate with limited core functionality after 1:00pm today, January 7, 2025. The Louisa County Office Building will open at 1:00pm with limited staff. Citizens are encouraged to call 540-967-0401 after 1:00pm to confirm if a service is available, or citizens may utilize online tools. Human Services will also open and services may be confirmed by calling 540-967-1320. Refuse & recycling site and the landfill will open at 1:00 pm. The Animal Shelter and Parks, Recreation & Tourism at the Betty Queen Center will be closed all day. Precincts are open for the Special Election. Please exercise extreme caution in parking lots.

Employees – teleworking is encouraged and Liberal Leave is in effect. Coordinate with your supervisor.

Board of Supervisors Meeting

Administrative items for the Board of Supervisors meeting tonight will begin at 6:00pm. Follow louisacounty.gov/meetings for an updated agenda. To provide a public comment in writing electronically, email info@louisacounty.gov. Written comments received by 5pm will be acknowledged and may be read into the record up to the three-minute mark at the Board’s discretion.
