Road Conditions
On Saturday, motorists may encounter VDOT brine trucks spraying the mix of salt and water on interstate, primary and major secondary roads. These trucks and their escort vehicles travel at a slow speed to effectively spray the solution, so please allow them plenty of room. Note, precincts will be open on Tuesday, January 7 for the special election. Utility crews are being mobilized and prepared to respond. Prepare and contact your electric service provider promptly if your power goes out. The more information an electric service provider has about an outage, the faster they can respond and make the needed repairs.
