Ensure a fun and safe Halloween by following these essential safety tips for trick-or treaters, drivers and party hosts.
For Trick or Treaters
Costume Safety:
- Choose costumes that fit well to avoid tripping hazard, use nontoxic face paint instead of masks to ensure clear vision, add reflective tape or glow sticks to costumes for visibility.
Supervision:
- Children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult, plan a safe route in advance and remind kids to look both ways before crossing the street.
