Water is restored to around 9,000 homes by 5 p.m. today, work continues North of 11-E

Update for the Evening of Dec. 30:

Water has been restored to 9,000 customers in the following areas:
  • Bumpus Cove, Embreeville, Conklin, Washington College, Limestone, Telford and Bailey Bridge Road.
  • No large leaks were discovered in six inch lines, but we did discover and repair multiple leaks in smaller lines.

Tomorrow’s Plan:
  • We have 150 miles of line left North of 11-E to finish.
  • As service is restored, homeowners need to inspect waterlines inside their homes, outbuildings, barns and garages for leaks.

Water Distribution Continues:
  • Livestock water distribution will continue from 2-4 p.m. tomorrow, Dec. 31, in Telford next to the Telford Diner.
  • Jugs of water will be distributed from 4-8 p.m. tomorrow, Dec. 31, at Bowmantown Ruritan.
