Water is restored to around 9,000 homes by 5 p.m. today, work continues North of 11-E

Update for the Evening of Dec. 30:

Water has been restored to 9,000 customers in the following areas:

Bumpus Cove, Embreeville, Conklin, Washington College, Limestone, Telford and Bailey Bridge Road.
No large leaks were discovered in six inch lines, but we did discover and repair multiple leaks in smaller lines.

Tomorrow’s Plan:

We have 150 miles of line left North of 11-E to finish.
As service is restored, homeowners need to inspect waterlines inside their homes, outbuildings, barns and garages for leaks.

Water Distribution Continues:

Livestock water distribution will continue from 2-4 p.m. tomorrow, Dec. 31, in Telford next to the Telford Diner.
Jugs of water will be distributed from 4-8 p.m. tomorrow, Dec. 31, at Bowmantown Ruritan.
