Progress Continues on Restoring Water to Jonesborough Customers

Update for the Morning of Dec. 30:

Water has been restored to 3,000 customers in the following areas:
  • Bumpus Cove, Embreeville, Conklin and parts of Washington College
  • Two large leaks were discovered in six inch lines and repaired

Tank Levels:
The main tank increased to 37.6 feet and is holding steady.

Today’s Plan:
  • Crews are in Limestone and Telford.
  • As service is restored, homeowners need to inspect waterlines inside their homes, outbuildings, barns and garages for leaks.

Water Distribution Continues:
  • Livestock water distribution will continue from 2-4 p.m. today, Dec. 30, in Telford next to the Telford Diner.
  • Jugs of water will be distributed from 4-8 p.m. today, Dec. 30, at Bowmantown Ruritan since that is central to those still without water.
