Water main replacement on South Jamison Street to begin April 14

(Kirksville, MO) - The City of Kirksville wants to inform residents that water main replacement will begin on South Jamison Street, between East Patterson Street and East Normal Street, on April 14, 2025.

As a result, South Jamison Street will be reduced to one lane in this area between 8:30 am and 2:30 pm while work is underway. The street will reopen during the evening, overnight, and early morning hours.

Construction is expected to take approximately four weeks, depending on the weather.

The traveling public is encouraged to use caution, drive slowly through work areas, and utilize alternate routes.
