Kirksville’s Hometown Holiday will be a night to remember on November 28

(Kirksville, MO) - Save the date for Kirksville’s Hometown Holiday on Saturday, November 28, 2026. Downtown Kirksville is the place to be for a great night of festive fun and holiday spirit.

Don’t miss the 15th annual Kirksville Kiwanis Christmas Parade at 5:30 pm. This year’s parade theme is “Holly Dolly Christmas,” in memory of Dolly Parton and her Imagination Library, a program that Kiwanis sponsors in our community. This year’s Parade Grand Marshal is longtime community leader Larry Whitney.

The ceremonial tree lighting, pictures with Santa, hot chocolate, carolers, horse-drawn carriage rides and the Toasty Trails Fire Pit Area all return to the event.
The night sky will come alive with a holiday drone show after the tree lighting, a new addition that will take the festivities to new heights.

Check out the graphic above for the full schedule and plan to spend a great Saturday night in the heart of Kirksville! Head to VisitKirksville.com to learn more.
