Reconstruction of section of South Halliburton Street to begin next week

(Kirksville, MO) - The City’s Street Maintenance Division will begin reconstructing South Halliburton Street, from East McPherson Street to East Jefferson Street, on Monday, October 12.

This will be a full-depth street reconstruction, with the old street surface and underground base being removed and replaced. With new concrete curb and gutter recently installed, this area will have improved roadways and drainage once completed.

The road will be closed during construction. This work is expected to be completed by October 23, weather permitting.

Please pay attention to signage and personnel when traveling through or near construction zones.
