Downtown pavement marking work extending to next week

(Kirksville, MO) - The City of Kirksville wants to inform residents that additional time is needed to complete the downtown pavement markings. Overnight parking is back open downtown from now through Monday.

Beginning Tuesday, September 8, a few sections of McPherson, Washington, Harrison, Elson, and Main streets will be closed to overnight parking so pavement markings can be completed. That will be in effect from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am.

Signs will be posted, so keep an eye out when parking at night. If you don’t see signs, you are OK to park there.

This work should be completed by the end of the week.
