Reconstruction of section of East Pierce Street to begin

(Kirksville, MO) - The City of Kirksville’s Street Maintenance Division will begin reconstruction of East Pierce Street, from South Halliburton Street to South Lewis Street, on September 8.

The street will have alternating lane closures or may have full closures during construction. Please pay attention to signage and personnel when traveling near this area.

This project should be completed by September 25, depending on the weather. This street reconstruction comes after new concrete curb and gutter were added along the street. Once completed, this area will have improved roadways and drainage.
