City Hall mural project to begin next week

(Kirksville, MO) - The City of Kirksville is excited to share that a new mural project will begin next week on the City Hall elevator tower.

Artist Kenzie Wolk, who painted the lovely mural at Beard’s Decorating Center last year, will be painting at City Hall July 14 through 16 and July 20 through 24. This new piece will transform the concrete structure, bringing the scenery and wildlife Kirksville is known for into the downtown.
 
During this time, the ADA parking space in the rear of City Hall will be occupied. We ask residents needing that space to park just north of the elevator.

This mural is a collaboration between the Kirksville Tourism Department and the Kirksville Arts Association to further beautify the community. That partnership has led to the restoration of the mural at the Princess Theater in 2023 and the new murals at Hidden Treasures in 2024 and at Beard’s in 2025.
