Section of West Illinois Street to close for stormwater improvements

(Kirksville, MO) - The City of Kirksville wants to inform residents of a new street closure for an ongoing stormwater project.

Lawson Construction continues working on stormwater improvements on Illinois Street. Beginning Monday, June 22, West Illinois Street, from North Franklin Street to North Elson Street, will be closed. This includes the intersection of North Franklin Street and West Illinois Street.

This closure should last for approximately 30 days, depending on weather.

Please use caution when driving through work zones, and pay attention to signage and personnel. Additionally, seek alternate routes if needing to travel through this area.
