Learn to swim this summer with Kirksville Parks and Recreation

(Kirksville, MO) - The Kirksville Parks and Recreation Department is excited to announce its 2026 summer swim lesson schedule, offering a variety of group classes for swimmers of all ages and skill levels.

Sessions are now open for registration, with multiple times and dates available to fit your family's schedule. Cost will be $33 for members and $66 for non-members. Scholarships are available to ensure all children have access to swim safety and water fun.

Morning Group Swim Lessons
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday | 12:00 pm – 12:45 pm

• Session 1: June 1 – June 10
• Session 2: June 15 – June 24
• Session 3: June 29 – July 8
• Session 4: July 13 – July 22

Afternoon Group Swim Lessons
Tuesday and Thursday | 4:00 pm – 4:45 pm

• Session 1: June 9 – June 25
• Session 2: July 7 – July 23

Evening Group Swim Lessons
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday | 7:00 pm – 7:45 pm

• Session 1: June 1 – June 10
• Session 2: June 15 – June 24
• Session 3: June 29 – July 8
• Session 4: July 20 – July 29
• Session 5: August 3 – August 12

Water Exploration Classes
Designed for younger or first-time swimmers who are ages 3 & under, with a parent in the water. Each session includes six lessons (30 minutes each).
Tuesday and Thursday | 9:00 am – 9:30 am or 6:15 pm – 6:45 pm

• Session 1: June 2 – June 18
• Session 2: June 23 – July 9
• Session 3: July 21 – August 6

Classes fill up quickly, so early registration is encouraged! Whether your child is just getting comfortable in the water or working toward more advanced skills, the Kirksville Aquatic Center's instructors are ready to help them dive in and succeed.
