North Park hosting MLB Pitch, Hit & Run competition on May 16

(Kirksville, MO) - Calling all youth baseball and softball stars! Kirksville Parks and Recreation is hosting the MLB Pitch, Hit & Run competition on May 16!
Athletes between 7 and 14 years of age are eligible to compete in the free event for a chance to qualify for the Team Championship round at an MLB Stadium. If we get 175 pre-registrants, all eight of our Local Champions automatically qualify for the Team Championship Round at an MLB Stadium. Finalists at the Team Championship round can then qualify for an all-expenses-paid trip for themselves and one guardian to compete in the MLB Pitch, Hit & Run Finals at the 2026 World Series!
This event will be going on in coordination with KBSL Opening Day and will be open from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at North Park. Drop by when you’re available and give it your best shot!
We will host baseball and softball competitions in four different age brackets at the North Park Sports Complex.
