Water main replacement on South High Street to begin November 5

(Kirksville, MO) - City crews will begin work to replace a water main on South High Street, from East LaHarpe Street to the southern end of the street, on November 5, 2025. As a result, this section of South High Street will be one lane between 7:00 am and 4:00 pm while work is underway. The street will reopen during the evening, overnight, and early morning hours.

Construction is expected to take approximately eight weeks, depending upon the weather. The traveling public is strongly encouraged to use caution, drive slowly through work areas, and utilize alternate routes.
