Attention, residents!
Recently, citizens utilizing the Recycling Center have been placing non-recyclable items and household trash into the blue recycling-only bins. As a reminder, citizens may view the list of recyclable items on the City website by clicking this link.
Recently, citizens utilizing the Recycling Center have been placing non-recyclable items and household trash into the blue recycling-only bins. As a reminder, citizens may view the list of recyclable items on the City website by clicking this link.
- Recyclable items include plastic bottles and containers, paper, glass bottles and containers, flattened cardboard and paperboard, and empty food and beverage cans. As Horseshoe Bay now has single-stream recycling, all recyclable items may go into any blue bin.
- Residents should NOT put any of the following items into the blue recycling bins: food, liquids, foam cups and containers, green waste (brush, etc.), batteries, loose plastic bags or film, clothing, furniture, and carpet. For household trash, please use the bin on the right as you enter the Recycling Center near the office.
