Dear Sandy Resident,

Important changes to election procedures are in effect this year. Please read the following updates carefully to ensure your vote is counted. The Primary Election is next Tuesday, August 12, 2025.
 

Mail-in Ballots

Due to changes passed by the Utah Legislature in 2025, all ballots must be received by the county clerk by 8:00 p.m. on Election Night—including mail-in ballots. Your vote will not be counted if your ballot arrives after the deadline, even if it’s postmarked on Election Day. (See HB300)

Drop Box Locations (Open 24/7)

Ballots placed in official drop boxes will be collected until 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.

• Sandy City Hall - 10000 Centennial Parkway, Sandy
• Sandy Senior Center - 9310 South 1300 East, Sandy

Election Day In-Person Voting

Please note: Sandy City Hall is not a voting center for the Primary Election.

In-person voting on August 12 will be held at:
Sandy City Library – Large Meeting Room
10100 South Petunia Way, Sandy between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.

Early Voting (Now through August 8)

Draper City Hall – Council Chambers
1020 East Pioneer Road
